Privacy Policy

SliceVolt LLC Effective date: 06/1/2026 Last updated: 06/1/2026

1. Who We Are

SliceVolt LLC (“SliceVolt,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides managed WordPress hosting. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to slicevolt.com, the billing portal at my.slicevolt.com, and the hosting services.

SliceVolt LLC is formed in Delaware and operates from New Jersey.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

  • Account and billing information — name, business name, email address, postal address, phone number, and the details needed to process payment. Payment card numbers are collected and processed directly by our payment processors; SliceVolt does not store full card numbers on its systems.
  • Support communications — the contents of support tickets, emails, and other messages you send us.

Information collected automatically:

  • Server and access logs — IP addresses, timestamps, requested resources, and user-agent strings, generated in the normal operation of web and mail servers and used for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — used on slicevolt.com and the billing portal for authentication, session management, and basic analytics. See the Cookies section below.

Customer content: When you host with us, your website files, databases, and any personal data of your own site visitors reside on our infrastructure. With respect to that data, you are the controller and SliceVolt acts as a processor on your behalf. You are responsible for having a lawful basis and your own privacy policy for the data your sites collect.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • create and manage your Account and provide the Services;
  • process payments and send billing notices, renewal reminders, and receipts;
  • provide support and respond to your requests;
  • secure our infrastructure, detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and attacks;
  • send essential service communications (for example, maintenance, security, or policy notices);
  • comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Marketing Communications

We may send you occasional product or service updates. You can opt out of non-essential marketing email at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Essential service and billing communications are not optional while you hold an active Account.

5. How We Share Information

We share personal information only as needed to run the business:

  • Payment processors — Stripe and PayPal process payments and receive the information necessary to do so.
  • Infrastructure and operational providers — our datacenter provider, managed DNS provider, off-site backup provider, and similar service providers that help us deliver the Services. These providers are bound to handle data only as instructed.
  • Legal and safety — we may disclose information when required by law, in response to valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of SliceVolt, our customers, or the public.
  • Business transfers — if SliceVolt is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, customer information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
  • Infrastructure and operational providers — our datacenter provider (Cloudnium), managed DNS provider ([provider]), off-site backup provider operated by Slice Volt LLC, and email provider (Microsoft365), each of which receives only the data necessary to deliver its part of the Services and is bound to handle it accordingly.

6. Data Retention

We retain Account and billing information for as long as you maintain an Account and afterward as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and operational purposes. After Account termination, customer content may be deleted following a reasonable grace period — export your data before your Account closes.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, server hardening, firewalling, access controls, and multi-factor authentication on administrative systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to obtain a copy of it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@slicevolt.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

  • California residents may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. SliceVolt does not sell personal information.
  • EU/EEA and UK residents may have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR. Where SliceVolt processes customer-site data on your behalf, we do so as a processor under your instructions.

9. International Data

SliceVolt’s primary infrastructure is located in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you understand that your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries where our providers operate.

10. Cookies

slicevolt.com and the billing portal use cookies for authentication, session management, and basic, privacy-respecting analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect the functionality of the billing portal and login.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted at slicevolt.com with an updated effective date and, where appropriate, communicated to the email on your Account.
