1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between Slice Volt LLC (“Slice Volt,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and the individual or entity that creates an account or purchases services (“you,” “your,” or “Customer”). By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or using any Slice Volt service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
Slice Volt LLC is a limited liability company formed in the State of Delaware and operating from New Jersey.
2. Definitions
Services — the managed WordPress hosting plans (Personal, Business, Agency), related add-ons, and any associated support, billing, and account-management functions provided by Slice Volt.
Account — your customer record in the Slice Volt billing system at my.slicevolt.com.
Content — all data, files, code, media, databases, and other material you upload, install, or store using the Services.
Plan — the specific hosting package you purchase, including its defined limits on sites, storage, bandwidth, and other resources.
3. Eligibility and Account
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Services. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your Account, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity that occurs under your Account. Notify us immediately at abuse@slicevolt.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Description of Services
Slice Volt provides managed WordPress hosting on hardware that Slice Volt owns and operates in a third-party datacenter. “Managed” means Slice Volt handles server-level maintenance, security patching, the hosting stack, and hands-on support for hosting-related issues. Each Plan includes a defined allocation of WordPress sites, NVMe storage, bandwidth, and other resources, as published on slicevolt.com at the time of purchase.
The Services do not include custom WordPress development, theme or plugin development, content creation, SEO work, or third-party software licensing unless explicitly purchased as a separate add-on or service.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Services to host, transmit, or link to any material or to engage in any activity that:
violates any applicable law or regulation;
infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any party;
distributes malware, phishing pages, or other malicious code;
sends unsolicited bulk email (spam) or facilitates its sending;
contains child sexual abuse material or any content that exploits minors;
promotes violence, terrorism, or unlawful discrimination;
attempts to gain unauthorized access to any system, network, or account;
consumes server resources in a way that materially degrades service for other customers, including sustained CPU, memory, I/O, or process abuse, cryptocurrency mining, or running general-purpose compute workloads unrelated to website hosting;
operates open mail relays, open proxies, or services designed to anonymize unlawful activity.
SliceVolt may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate Services for violations of this section, with or without notice depending on severity. For severe violations (for example, active malware distribution, illegal content, or attacks originating from your account), we may suspend immediately to protect the network and other customers.
6. Resource Limits and Fair Use
Each Plan has defined resource limits. SliceVolt owns its hardware and provisions real, finite resources rather than overselling “unlimited” capacity. If your usage approaches or exceeds your Plan’s limits, we will work with you in good faith to right-size your Plan or address the cause. Sustained usage beyond your Plan’s limits may require an upgrade.
7. Fees, Billing, and Renewals
Pricing. Fees are as published at the time of purchase. Plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. Annual plans are offered at a discount equivalent to two months free.
Payment. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors (currently Stripe and PayPal). You authorize recurring charges to your selected payment method for the applicable billing cycle.
Automatic renewal. Unless you cancel before the end of your current billing cycle, Plans renew automatically at the then-current rate for another cycle of the same length.
Taxes. Fees are exclusive of any applicable taxes, which are your responsibility unless otherwise required by law.
Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may attempt to re-charge and may suspend or terminate Services for non-payment after reasonable notice.
Price changes. We may change pricing for future billing cycles with at least 30 days’ notice to the email on your Account. Price changes do not affect the current paid term.
8. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
New customers may request a full refund of hosting fees within 30 days of their initial purchase of a hosting Plan. This guarantee applies only to the first hosting Plan purchased on an Account and does not apply to:
domain name registrations or renewals (these are non-refundable once registered);
add-on services already rendered (for example, completed migrations or email service);
renewals or any purchase after the initial 30-day window;
accounts terminated for violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use section.
To request a refund, contact billing@slicevolt.com within the 30-day window. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
9. Backups and Your Responsibility for Your Data
SliceVolt performs routine backups of customer environments as part of the managed service, and the frequency and retention depend on your Plan. These backups are provided as a convenience and operational safeguard, not as a guarantee. You are solely responsible for maintaining your own independent, off-site backups of your Content. SliceVolt is not liable for any loss, corruption, or unavailability of Content, and you should not rely on SliceVolt backups as your only copy of important data.
10. Service Availability
SliceVolt targets high availability and operates redundant storage at the hardware level. Any uptime figure published in marketing materials is a target, not a contractual guarantee, unless a separate written Service Level Agreement (SLA) is in effect for your Account. Planned maintenance, factors outside our reasonable control (including upstream network, datacenter, or third-party provider failures), and force majeure events may affect availability.
11. Suspension and Termination
By you. You may cancel at any time through your Account or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not entitle you to a refund of the current term except as provided under the 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee.
By us. We may suspend or terminate your Services for non-payment, violation of these Terms, or to protect the security or integrity of our network and other customers.
Effect of termination. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends. We may delete your Content after a reasonable period following termination. Export your data before your Account closes.
12. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to your Content. You grant SliceVolt the limited right to host, store, transmit, and back up your Content solely to provide the Services. SliceVolt and its licensors retain all rights to the SliceVolt platform, brand, and infrastructure.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, SliceVolt disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure against all threats.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SliceVolt’s total liability arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to SliceVolt for the Services in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. SliceVolt will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost or corrupted data, even if advised of the possibility. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SliceVolt and its members, officers, and agents from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your Content, your use of the Services, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
16. Privacy
Your use of the Services is also governed by the SliceVolt Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and handle personal information.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to the email on your Account or posted at slicevolt.com with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
